Services are available to those guests attending the college ceremony and General Assembly who may require specific accommodations based on disability. These services vary depending upon the specific venue location.
Those needing these services are asked to please notify the University Registrar's office no later than fourteen (14) days in advance of commencement.
Hearing Accommodations
Sign language interpreting services for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing will be available by request.
Limited Mobility Accommodations
A reserved seating section for those requiring wheelchair seating or who have limited mobility will be available at each venue. These areas are marked with signage. A University Commencement Representative will be happy to assist families/guests needing such seating arrangements.
Due to high demand and limited space, the reserved seating area is restricted to the person with need and one guest. Additional members of your party are asked to sit in the open seating areas.
