Published

The ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø is once again inviting students who will be visiting ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø for the summer to enroll in the summer session as a Summer Visitor.

A Summer Visitor is an undergraduate student who is pursuing a degree at another university or a high school graduate who intends to seek a degree from another university and wishes to attend UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø for the summer session only.

Any student admitted as a Summer Visitor will be given non-degree seeking status at UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø.

Visiting students must have graduated from an approved high school or have completed their GED, or have attended a collegiate institution and remain eligible to return to the last institution of attendance.

Requirements include completing and submitting to the UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø Office of Admissions an undergraduate application prior to the beginning of the semester for which admission is sought. The application must be accompanied by a non-refundable $20 application fee for US citizens ($30 for non-US citizens). Checks should be payable to UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø.

Students currently attending another university should also submit a Letter of Good Standing from the university along with an official transcript from the last collegiate institution attended.

High school graduates and GED recipients with no college hours must meet all UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø admission requirements, including required ACT scores. Students should submit to the UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø Office of Admissions either an official high school transcript listing graduation date or a copy of the GED and a copy of ACT scores.

Visiting students should register as soon as possible, as course availability is limited. Registration for courses for summer visitors begins March 28. Those visiting students who wish to continue at UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø for the Fall 2005 semester must reapply for admission and must meet regular admissions requirements.
