LAFAYETTE – UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø will offer a Mental Health Professionals Continuing Education Seminar June 20-21.
Mental health professionals who attend short workshops during the seminar will earn continuing education credits toward annual licensing requirements.
Speakers include Kathryn Elliott, an associate professor of psychology and counselor education at UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø; Emilia J. Bellone, a ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø social worker; and Ralph J. Melancon Jr., a licensed addiction counselor in Thibodaux, La.
Workshop topics will include grief, spirituality issues and ethical responsibilities toward colleagues.
