The Gibson/White Trio (trumpet, bassoon, and piano) will give a recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Choral Room (158) in Angelle Hall on the UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø campus.
Admission is free. The concert is sponsored by the UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø Student Government, Lyceum Committee and the UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø Concert Series.
Marilynn Gibson, trumpet; David Gibson, bassoon; and Corlie White, piano are all faculty members of the UL Monroe music department. They are nationally acclaimed as artists and teachers. While at UL ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø, the trio will perform a public recital, give master classes, and give lessons to interested music students.
