University Wind Ensemble to play 'Musical Games'

University Wind Ensemble will help celebrate the ˾’s Homecoming Week by performing music that’s in tune with this year’s Homecoming theme: “The Ragin’ Cajun Games.”

“Musical Games,” a free concert, will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, in Angelle Hall Auditorium on campus.

William J. Hochkeppel, director of bands and associate professor of music at UL ˾, will conduct. The ensemble will play selections from composers and arrangers such as John Philip Sousa, Leonard Bernstein and Robert Russell Bennett.

University Wind Ensemble features some of UL ˾’s finest wind and percussion players.
