Academic transcripts, which provide a complete history of your education, play an important role in the graduate admission process.
- At the time of application, you may submit copies of official transcripts through the application portal. (If you are taking classes or completing a degree during the application process, this transcript will not be 鈥渇inal鈥 because it will show in-progress courses and that a degree has not yet been awarded.)
- Upon admission, you must request that official transcripts be sent to us directly from the institution attended. The Graduate School must receive required official transcripts from each institution before the start of your first semester of graduate study.
- Official transcripts from the institution attended are required for the following:
- all institutions where any degree was awarded
- all institutions where any graduate coursework was attempted
- Official transcripts cannot be older than one year and must be current and/or in-progress.
- The Graduate School reserves the right to require official transcripts for all institutions attended.
- International students receiving an I-20 must have official transcripts and proof of degree(s) sent from each institution before an I-20 will be issued or transferred.
